Volunteer With Us
The Rankin Museum Welcomes Volunteers!
We love having help here at the museum! Volunteers are especially need for events such as Hometown Christmas, the Geology Dig, and the Fossil Fair. If you'd like to help out, give us a call!
Student Volunteers
If you are a student in need of volunteer hours we are happy to help. Student volunteer hours are from 3:30pm or 4pm to 5pm on Wednsdays or Thursdays only. If you would like to volunteer during these hours please call and give us the following:
- Student's name and phone number (if available)
- Parent or guardian's name and phone number
- Name and phone number of the pick-up person (if they are not the parent or guardian)
Volunteer Activities Include but Not Limited to:
- Working registration tables at events
- Organizing the museum's collections and files
- Assisting with museum upkeep
- Flume assistance
- Helping at craft tables during events
